Meet the Evie Ring — it can track all things women's health

A major feature highlighted by the firm is that the 'Spot Check function' paved the way for consumers to observe their pulse rate and blood oxygen levels constantly. Furthermore, additional information is noted with vital sign data, allowing users to perceive their moods and feelings. 

They also insinuated that Evie is the first smart ring crafted with a small gap in the ring surface made using scratch-resistant metal. Additionally, it's designed to incorporate a slight flex in the material, making it easy to adjust finger sizes and ensure a perfect fit.

Movano Health also announced a portable charger accompanying the smart ornament, which can be recharged up to 10 times on one charge for easy on-the-go use. 

AI-driven data improved the design

Optimizing women's physiological features using AI-driven data, the firm said it used highly sensitive medical-grade sensors. 

It's further equipped with highly efficient LEDs that eject additional light to enhance the quality of the optical signals. This allows the ring to provide higher accuracy in data and improved "repeatability with less battery drain."

Insights that aided the company's ameliorated ring design encompassed women-specific features, particularly hormonal changes affecting the sizes of body parts. This data was sourced with the help of a customized AI engine that hunted for affiliations between menstrual health, mood, energy, sleep, and activity.

The firm's statement illustrating data exemplified: "We've noticed your mood improves when you get 1000 more steps than your average" or "Your sleep may be interrupted during this phase of your menstrual cycle due to a dip in progesterone.

The firm noted that specific information such as this can help users modify their behaviors to optimize their daily routines. 

Currently supported in Apple's iOS

Movano Health said new features will be added to the Evie Ring over the next few months. They specifically mentioned the addition of enhanced menstrual health insights. 

The design strives to support Android devices in Q2 2024. However, the ring and companion application are compatible with Apple's iOS.

The award-winning innovation can be purchased exclusively through their official website in colors –gold, rose gold, and silver finishes- in sizes five to 12. They are also offering an optional complimentary sizing kit for individuals unaware of their ring size.
